I'm having an issue with my Panasonic NNCD997S microwave displaying error code H97 and ceasing operation. It suggests a malfunction involving the inverter, magnetron, or digital programming circuit. This error halts microwave function as soon as I attempt to start it. Has anyone resolved this error without professional service, or know of the typical repair costs? Looking for guidance on whether to repair or replace. Thank you!

H95, H97, H98 or H99 mean that there's a problem with your inverter, magnetron,
or digital programming circuit.
It
may be a loose connection in the wiring between the inverter, magnetron, and/or
control board, or maybe one of those components has failed.
Due to the lethal voltages used and
produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on
these.

i had to take the entire cover off the microwave (it is held in pace by screws at back as well as the bottom). Take the busted bulb to hardware store (bunnings) or panasonic spares and replace. Note I have a slightly different models (nn9853, nn9807).

If
it stops after 22 seconds, that means the controller has detected a
problem, usually a problem with the inverter or a bad magnetron.
