You are entering the wrong code ...that is why it is not accepting it and going into WAITING.

Unfortunately Kenwood codes are not available for free from anywhere on the Internet.

Main Dealer or Decoding Service only.

To rest the WAITING, leave it SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for a couple of hours and it will automatically reset itself
