Also check that the paper guide in the feed tray is tight up against the edge of the paper. If it is not, the paper can skew as it is picked up and then jam on the way in.

Try cleaning the rollers that pull the paper. use a piece of tissue and some cold tap water.
Also make sure that the paper tray is full
