Statistics We were using our TI 83Plus and 84Plus calculators to simulate a die rolling experiment. We were using the random integer generator to generate 5 rolls of the die, then we used the sum command to add the five rolls together and divided by five to find the sample mean. Here is what we typed into the calculator....sum(randint(1,6,5))/5. Nowm here is the interesting thing. I had 5 people do this 20 times each to generate 100 sample means. We are studying the central limit theorem in statistics class. We discovered that 2 of the 5 calculators were generating the exact same list of sample means...in the exact same order. Why and how could this happen?
