Same thing I get as c:31:22 error code with the beeping and the tape eject icon, what i found here is what i find on sonys website. It didn't work, any other ideas?
That is a capstan error code. doesn't always need a capstan however. may need cleaning, Many times the takeup tension needs adjusting ,if it's to low it will produce the code.
