We are having problems with not being able to see anything through the view finder or on the screen all of a sudden. We ahve tried to record and it is doing this but we cannot see what e ahve recorded when we play it back but can hear the recording. Is this a common problem and can it be fixed?

I work for canon and its a common problem for me when i repair, its 50 50 for either the flex has come loose or theres a problem with the main pcb. you could take it apart and look, its easy just map each screw next to the part were you took it off, just go slow and also write down what you are doing or if not just send it in.
