AfterI do a load of dishes and the cycle is complete, there is a lot of water left in the bottom of the dishwasher. Why is this happenning and how do I fix it?

almost certainly blocked, no way of telling where the blockage is without dismantling machine, however if your machine is connected to your sink waste this would be a good place to start as they often block where the hose attaches.
