E10 Problem Ok here is the description: The mp3 player is in a form of a locked up state. The mp3 does not respond when i press the "on" button or any other buttons. A picture of the mp3 player in drawing pops up only when I click the "reset" button. After the picture stays for about...3 minutes or so, the screen changes. Next screen is a black screen with the message "Player Update Required! Please see the manual" nothing happens to the screen when i click or press anything. When i plug in the USB cord to the jack, the screen changes again, but only the message. The final message that appears is "Emergency USB v1.40" Nothing changes. Also, the iRiver Plus 3 does not recognize the portable device being connected to the computer....could you please help?
i'm having trouble with my iriver E10 devise. The screen came up with a massage telling me it needed a new upgrade. i plugged it into my computer and it started charging as it usually does, but i forgot that my computer had been re-formatted and i needed to install iriver plus 2. so i did that but neither the computer nor the programe would regognise the devise was there. i upgraded iriver plus 2 to iriver plus 3 but it made no difference. The devise still said it was charging, but nothing would regognise it was there. the screen just keeps coming up with Emergency USB v1.40 and wont power off.
