If you are posting about making dvd movies out of mp4 video you'll Need 2 or 3 programs or
Nero http://www.nero.com/enu/ has programs to do it like Nero Video
with nero video you can just drag the mp4 into the dvd maker.
Other wise you'll need mp4 to vob converter program & dvd burner program that has burn dvd option

Hi there are various reasons why this happens,There are a number of steps you can try.
1.Try using a different burning program, eg .Ashampoo Burning Studio 6, which you download for free from the web.
2.Try using a different brand of disks.
3.If you use Nero Burning Rom, go to your Start Menu.click on All Programs/Nero.In the sub Menu click on Nero Tools and select Nero Info Tool and see what that brings up.

Check in C:\program files\ if there is a NERO folder. If not Nero is not present/installed. In this case I advise to get Cd burner XP pro: http://cdburnerxp.se it is free

You need to download the program from your computer models web site.Your dvd drive program is corrupt.

3 Burn anything you want

1.) You can use a third program software like nero.
To use nero, you have to "purchase" it first, then install nero, then open "Nero burning ROM" application usually either under
"program files\Ahead\Nero\Nero Burning Rom\nero.exe"
or
Program Files\Nero\...\Nero Burning Rom\Nero.exe

Select the option CD-ROM Iso, then select multi session(if you want to add pictures later) or no multisession (if you dont want to add pictures later)::: For example, your CD takes abour 700MB of data, but you only have 10 pictures @ 30MB or so then you most likely to use multisession.::: Then click on the "new" button to start compiling your cd.

Then you can add your files into your compilation. You can give your CD a name by either double clicking on the little disk icon to your right in the first nero and changing the name OR by selecting "File" from the menu, then selecting the "Compilation properties" option, then click on the "Label" tab, and change your cd's name there.

All you have to do now, after you have given your cd a name and added files to the compilation is to find and click on the "burn" icon located in the nero bar below the "file, edit, new menus".


2.)If you have installed nero, you can also use Nero smart start 2 complile your CD. Benefis: Much quicker and easier to use.
