Wont print, same error code keeps coming up.
F248 is a corrupt print job. Cancel all prints jobs. Happens most often when printing from the Internet. The newer machine (3500i - 3501i) have a firmware update correcting this error code.
There must be some other code, starting with C that also shows up, or a line of text that provides a better hint. There are only a handful of "F" codes on this machine (at least in the manual), and ALL of them have to do with communication between boards. If you have had a board out, or if you ahd to take out a developer assembly or the transfer belt, maybe something is not properly connected. I don't have a deeper reference without more info. Was there a bad jam? A major wear item replaced? Try getting into the service mode (1087, 1087 quickly, on the keypad) and go to item 906 and execute it - follow directions for shut-off. It could be a brain-cramp.
