Shutter I have two digital rebel xts and the shutter is locked on both of them.

my shutter will not close and it showed an error. I turned it off and took out the battery. It will now not turn on and the shutter is still open I really need help. I tried all the suggestions but nothing worked. The shutter did start working again but only until we got to one of our big school events, the cheerleading tournament, and it quit again. That was the end. I put it in for repair this weekend, $224.00, but have to have it soon for the next Chincoteague pony roundup for our website, www.wildponytales.com.
