It says the disc is unreadable and I can't get it to clean the disc I saw with a soft cloth restart the console tips
That message can mean two things to consider.(1) If you trying to play a backup(copy) of the game and your box is not flashed then it will show that (2) if you only using original games then it can mean either your disc is damaged ,has a few scratches on it therefore the laser cannot read the data properly. it could also mean that your laser is dying .this happens when you get into the habit of playing scratched media .it shortens the life of your laser. in the case where you trying to play a copied disc,then it is either a cheap media disc or scratched or incorrectly burned.use image burn and make an iso of the game and burn it at no faster than 4 speed.

i had the same problem with my MW2 and it may be due to the copy of the game. when they made it, it might have been to thin. i returned it n got a new copy n it worked. also, it might be ur eye to read the game as well.

One common problem that video game players have all the time are scratched discs. A helpful way around buying a brand new game or a disc scratch remover, is to first:
a.) Borrow the same version of the game from a friend
OR
b.) Rent the same version of the game from a store
Now, take the unscratched disc, and install it to your hard drive.
And lastly, now you can put in the scratched disc and go to "Game Library", choose the game, and select "Play from Hard drive."
The reason this trick works, is because when you play your disc from the hard drive, it uses minimal memory from the disc itself.
NOTE: Installing a disc to your hard drive does NOT replace having to put in the game to play it.
You still need a copy of the game in order to run it from your hard drive. I believe this is some security feature so people don't go around copying the games and not buying them.
Also, I would NOT install the scratched disc to your hard drive, for this will not help your problem at all.
