Hmm that sounds a bit strange have you tried to install chrome or Palemoon (a firefox variant)?
Try restarting the tablet. If that fails to let you run a browser, you may have malware. You'll need to run a virus scan, preferably from an antivirus rescue CD like one from AVG or Avira.
