Whenever i start the Tally one error message appears on the screen
that message contains
EXITING TALLY!!
INCORRECT VERSION.
DATA OF INCORRECT VER.(7)
CAN ONLY RUN VERSION 6!!
EXITING TALLY!!
INCORRECT VERSION.
DATA OF INCORRECT VER.(10)
CAN ONLY RUN VERSION 9!
Error is coming due incorrect version of tally. Are you using licence version of tally, if yes then you can convert the files from tally 6 to tally 7. Once converted , then you can able to view from tally 7.
Whenever you see this error in tally.
Reason is ;-
your data will run on upgrade version/ release of Tally.
so, just upgrade your tally release or version . if you feel any problem then post a forum on eazyaccounting.com

1)Start Tally and at Company Info Screen press Ctrl + Alt + R then select the corrupt company and press enter to start rewrite process.
2)If it does not worked then there is another method for rewrite:-
Click Start > Run > Type ’C:\(Tally 7.2 directory name)\Tally72.EXE C:\(Tally Data path)[space]/
then press enter
for Eg: c:\tally7.2\tally72.exe c:\tally7.2\data /
after pressing enter tally will get open and at company info screen press Ctrl + Alt + R then select the corrupt company.

Can only run version 10.
So I need a help ,can any one give me solution of that problem
