I have a Casio Exilim that's only a few months old, and out of the blue it just plain won't turn on. I don't think it's a problem with charging: I put it on the cradle and the light turns red at first and then after it sits there for a while, it turns green again. When I slide the front slider to turn the camera on, it makes a clicking noise, the screen turns a slightly lighter shade of dark for a moment, the little green light on the back flickers, and....that's it. It just won't turn on. Any thoughts?
When I try to turn the camera on it softly beeps twice then three times really quickly and then shuts off. I can bring up the bois version so I know the screen is working, but the camera wont boot up. I have the same problem. When I turn the camera on there is a click and the green panel light blinks once. After about 10 seconds there three beeps and then nothing. The screen does not light up. If I hold the menu button down then turn it on the screen will light up and display VER 1.00

I had that same problem and i noticed that the batter was flipped the wrong way so if you try to turn the battery it might work im not saying thats the problem but you could try.
