My center has Ricoh Aficio 2018D that was used by a prior director. Ask for a user code. no one knows the code. How to reset?
There is two ways to achieve this, either enter servisse mode using yellow 1 0 7 and stop (hold stop for a few seconds) go to copy sp the go to 5 mode and the scroll to 801 memory all clear... this will reset the machine completely... if you not feeling so brave inside 801 there is sub menus just stroll down to clear UCS

If the scanner has not been configured, or network settings have changed, the setup for scanning on this unit is unfortunately quite difficult for a novice. the manuals are readily available at Ricoh.com, under Downloads, but this will not help very much with the scanner config.

To reset error, enter SP mode by pressing: Clear (yellow) button, 1 0 7, and press and hold the Stop (orange) button for 3 seconds then switch off and on the copier.

sc 548- service call - fusing unit not set properly
the fusing unit connector may be loose.
u can reset the error by entering the service mode (careful -do not change anything )
to enter the service mode press [all clear](yellow button) ,[1],[0],[7],[clear](orange button)and keep the button pressed for about 5 sec.
go in copier options , then mode 5, then option 810
and execute(or 1 & ok)
(careful -do not change anything else)
