The most common problem on this device would be client/operator error, incorrect removeal of paper jams will result in a broken "fuser exit actuator" luckily this part is cheap and readily available

I have a Janome 1600P and the top thread keeos breaking

There are several common reasons for upper thread breakage.

Check that the needle/thread/fabric are compatible.
All About Needles

Remove the upper thread from the machine, install a brand new needle, ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot, and rethread from the beginning. Verify the thread path is correct. Set the upper tension to the midway point.

Why does my washer not spin

can you hear the motor running? is the tub full of water? If you have a machine that is less than 10 years old and is a top loader you have a common problem, the transmission has stripped a gear and will not spin. Call some local repair shops and find out if this is a common problem for your model. You will need a new machine if this is the problem, good luck

Dryer/blowoutairbut want get hot

Most common problems are found after someone opens up the machine, and you will be needing a testing machine.
Most common problems are a dead heating element, a blown overheat thermostat or a wire that has burnt in two.
Might also be the timer, or no electricity getting to the heating element because the circuit breaker has blown in your fuse box.
If you would like to find a tester and take your machine apart and fix it yourself, ask "fixya", I'll try to take you through the steps.
Be Blessed.

What problems has GE had with this model of washing machine? I have one and it filled the tub but didn't turn off, and continued until it over flowed and started flooding the room? Could you tell me if...

Not common to your machine.

The problem is the pressure switch has failed or the hose is plugged up, has a hole in it. These are usually inexpensive and are very easy to replace. Here is a video this will walk you thru testing and replacing a pressure switch. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. All parts come with installation instructions. Not all models are available.

Whirlpool top loading washer won't go into the spin cycle, what is wrong ?

There is an excellent video on washing machine repair on utube. The most common problem is a bad lid switch. probably the next most common problem is the water level switch. It's not likely to be the timer, they tell me they almost never go bad, and to prove it, they don't stock them. The utube video shows you how to open the machine and get access to check parts and repair the problem.

MY BEKO 1613S WONT WASH MY CLOTHES

Quite a common problem. The least common is the actual failure of the timer itself. It is much more commonly caused by the failure of the heater, water valve, pump, a broken wire or even a blockage in the pressure system or waste system.
