I have the same problem. My inside screen is broken and my inbox is full. I can't delete the texts. I can't seem to find any solution. PLease help if possible.
Well try while on your outside screen trying to go to messages and then from there go to options and then selecteither erase inbox, sent, draft, or all. Let me know if this works for you.
