What is this "same problem" you're referring to? The things to check in your situation are dust build-up, reseating components, and trying a different power supply. If those things don't work it's probably a video card or piece of memory gone bad, assuming the computer did work and suddenly stopped.
You can't confirm the motherboard is not faulty just because you're getting fan movement. If you want someone to make a reasonable attempt to help you, post the details of the parts you're using. It sounds like an incompatibility problem so far.
That's your problem then, the board doesn't support DDR2 memory.
Have you looked at the specifications of this motherboard and compared them to the components you have?

You need to read the installation document and make sure you install the custom virtual GART driver, your board has an SiS chipset. You are connecting the video card to the computer power supply, right? It must be connected or the system will not function.
I would bet on incompatible memory. Try some DDR333 and see if that takes care of the problem.

all the parts that im using for this are being transfered from another working computer. the only thing new here is the new mother board. i have a 400 watt power supply and also a 600 watt power supply that i have tried. it doesent seem to work tho. the 400 watt gives the mother board power for 2 seconds and the 600 watt doesent even budge it. since im getting some fan movement in the mother board i can conform that the mother board isent faulty. is there anything else tat im doing wrong.
i am plugging in a 1 gig ddr2 memory and a 512md memory
