Oops, the original remote died in a washing machine accident. I have a new remote but no idea how to program it (or the fan)? Thanks.
If it has dip switches, you have to match the settings to the receiver & transmitter. If it's a learner remote then you have to read the instructions for that remote. BTW That's not a very good fan you bought. I wouldn't buy any fan with less than a 14 degree blade pitch or a CFM of 55,000 or higher.
