same problem

I have the same problem and it SOOOOOOO ANNOYING AAGGGGHHH!! I disabled tapping the first day I got the laptop but it still causes me problems. freezing up, moving when you don't want it to etc etc. I should have sent the damn thing back when I got it but it was an intermittant problem and I didn't think it was worth sending it back. I now use a usb mouse instead but it really annoys me coz I shouldn't have to.

Try reinstalling the driver for your touchpad. I had the same problem with my HP laptop. If you talk to an online chat technician, and he tells you to update the bios, DON'T. You only need to update the touchpad driver and it should all work out. If you have any problems, repost and i can try to help some more.
