All the above cant help for what is slowing the system is not temp file clogging but running short of ram to handle the incoming queries for the paging file is grown huge, so consider refreshing your windows or a fresh installation for even reducing the pagefile size wont help once at that state of procession. Win 7 needs at least 3 gb of memory. Run a chkdsk. Then get a free disk defragger from cnet site. Do a defrag of disk and see if your machine runs faster. Another problem can be a virus slowing your computer.
