MultiPASS F50 I have a Cannon Multipass F50 printer. I have replaced all the cartridges with the Cannon brand ink cartridges. Why does the printer continue to give me an error message that says "wrong cartridge"? How do I fix the problem?

I have same problem with F30. Cleaned everything to nth degree nothing works. Must be a way to trick it - been a good product for a good 5 years and now I'm overstocked with canon bci3e ink!

I am having the same exact problem and have also replaced all the cartridges with new ones; and am wanting to find out if I need to replace the printhead.

Check the Canon Knowledge base at www.canontechsupport.com, it may be the printhead or unit itself.
