I found the answer on another site and was able to fix my camera myself. E24 means your LCD display has come unplugged. What happens if you rotate the screen too much you tighten up the wire and it pulls the connection out of its socket. There ar 4 screws on hedispla, unscrew ad take th back off the screen. Unwind the screen until the wires loosen up. Replug in the loose connector. Resecure the back

E24 error displayed. What could be wrong?
same issue- When turning the camera on, E24 is displayed and then the camera shuts down.
Same thing -- I can't take any pictures. E16 was the first to come up, and I was still able to get photos sometimes. Now I get E24 and nothing. It's like it's trying to focus, but can't, and gives up and shuts down.
