Monitors DO NOT require any drivers to work, under Windows any version. If there is a problem it is NOT a driver issue to do with the monitor, you will have to look elsewhere.
check your driver if its installed..you havn't mention further what no sound is that...if the driver is installed check your cable if its plugged on the right hole usually located at the back of yourt PC..the one color green. see also if it is not MUTED
