I want to reset my printer

I have a canon mp180 printer.how can i reset the printer.i cannot find the reset button.

Try remove any program in your computer from your printer than go to controle panel printers click on it and search for printers follow the prompts if that fails use the driver cd and reinstale again

Canon mp180, When I replace the ink cartridges i am told that the ink is still low/empty. Even though they are new cartridges. Why is this? and how can I solve this problem?
If they are refilled cartridges, the refiller didn't reset the ink counter.

E27 error shown on my psc mp180
* Connected Printer to a Power source, Turn off the printer if printer on
* With the Printer power off, press the Power button while press and hold Stop/Reset button.
* When the Power led is light, press Stop/Reset button two times while pressing and holding the Power button.
* When releasing the Power button and the Stop/Reset button (regardless of order), the printer will move into a service mode. (Waiting for menu selection)
* When the on/off lights in green, press the Stop/Reset button four times to reset the ink. (Each time the Stop/Reset button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in orange and green, starting with orange).
* Press on button
* Unplug cable power from a power source.
* Then plug back in and power up the unit.

FULL INK ABSOBER
There is no repair for this model, you can't get the ink absorber and if you could there is no reset. This model was exchanged during warranty and after that you toss it and buy a new one. Canon has no parts or service for this model.

How can you scan on printer canon mp 180?
go to 'control panel' click 'printers and hardwares" . then yu will find "scanners and cameras" potion click it and follow the procedure of scaning.please do load the document to be scaned first.

That error code is described below:

Error Code Error indication Error condition.
5B00 Waste ink full H/W fail Replace printer.

And i would like you to refer to www.feedroller.com/Store/Service%20Manual/S100sm.pdf
Thos document has all the error codes and what needs to be done for that.
