I have a qwestar player and the parental lock is on and we have lost the remote. Where can I buy a new one from.
You need to call your cable or satellite prvider and ask them ot reset the pass word!

I have the same issue, the parental lock is on, but I can't figure out how to turn it off. It continues to ask for a password. I never set this to on, so I have not idea on how to turn it off. Please advise.
I had recently purchased a portable qwestar TV and DVD player combo, from the salvation army thrift store, here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I got all the power cables, but there was no remote or awner's manual. I can not get the TV to change channels, nor can I get any ALL-IN-ONE types of remotes to operate the machine. ALso, where is the model number located on these machines? I have found the serial number, I am finding out that any replacement parts is impossible without this model number available, when I am talking with any sort of tech guys... PLEASE HELP!!!

The Qwestar DVD player is used in your car, so you don't have a Cable or Satellite provider for this.
So that was the wrong suggestion.
