Amplifier problems!!! My Motorjoy 1000watt amp just quit one day. When I first purchased it I did not have it bridged, but one day I decided to and did. It seemed to work fine for a while until I noticed running, what I would call excessively hot. Then all of a sudden it popped, and quit. The light on top witch is usually green when working turned red and it would not run my sub woofer. The next day I tryed to turn it on and it worked fine for awhile then made the same popping noise and quit again (note: still bridged). It came back on a while later and to same process once or twice more and then would not come back on, the light continuously staying red when not working.
I have replace all fuses I can see but the red light still stays on.
It sounds like your running your ohms to low, check to see what the amp can power and then read up online about ohms and your subs and how they should be wired
