Your Video card came with a driver.software disk. The software off of the disk would likely have replaced your old burning software as the default burning program. And the codecs used to play various video files would have been replaced as well. I suggest you make sure you burn the dvd with the software you are familiar with and also download new codecs. I use a free codec pack called All-in-one codec pack....easily found by searching google. Hope this helps.
