I have an error code e-3 "paper jam" flashing. Help! I do not see a paper jammed in the print. yer
Well i found the problem, my daughter managed to get a tag that she cut out of a t-shirt stuck inside the switch that detects a paper jam. unfortuantly i neglected to unplug the printer while i was dismanteling it and shorted something out in the scanner when the ribon wire came loose so now it is severly messed up. thanks for the advice

Service mode operation procedures -
1) With the printer powered off but connected to a power source, press the Power button while pressing and holding
the Stop/ Reset button.
2) When the Power LED is lit, press the Stop/Reset button two times while pressing and holding the Power button.
3) When releasing the Power button and the Stop / Reset button (regardless of order), the printer will move into a
service mode. (Waiting for menu selection)
4) When the LED lights in green, press the Stop/Reset button the specified number of time(s) according to the
function listed in the table below.(Each time the Stop/Reset button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in
orange and green, starting with orange.)

my daughter brought me her canon pixma 150 , with the alarm light on and displaying an E 3. apparently that is a paper jam code but there is no paper in it and it actually runs a sheet through it when i first tunn it on. i've looked for help with no results. hopefully someone smarter than i can help. if you are that person i would appreciate your help tramendsly.

I have the same problem. E-3 is flashing on the printer. My computer is telling me there is a paper jam, but there is not. I tried disconnecting the printer and have hit the Start button to no avail. HELP!

i have this annoying problem started couple of days ago.My MP160 was working perfectly fine but suddenly it started showing E3 error i remmber after i did Bottom plate cleaning from the computer.I dont know what worong.
