Won't boot just built new computer all new components. using amd phenom 2 940 3.0 ghz processor with GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD4P 790X RT motherboard and VGA GIGABYTE GV-R487D5-1GD 1G R graphics card. when I boot the computer all the fans run lights go up, but my mouse doesn't turn on neither does the moniter with the bios page. I tried pulling out the mother board battery and shorting the connection (recomended by manual) double checked connections. my last thoughts are either a bad graphics card or motherboard, or a bad power supply which is putting out enough for fans and leds but not anything else...
Try and hook up a speaker and see if you get any beeps. Let me know what beeps you get. How many and how long they are. Also, make sure your MB has the latest firmware to support the processor.
