I have a konica cpp-500 with error code SC45-01 and can't figure out what needs to be fixed

Still have the code, how would I center the belt?

  • keyesracer5 Apr 21, 2009

I just moved the belt a couple different ways and it still has the error. The belt doesn't seem to off center. It's not close to ribs on either side. Is there a sensor that could be bad? It don't look like the belt has any active steering.

Machine is connected to the network. We use windows XP, it was working fine, some one pulled the Belt Module out to show someone the belt and after sliding it back in we get this error.

Color registration problem Restart copier and leave the front door open, will bypass the error code page.Press HELP,then press KEY OPERATOR MODE, scroll down to 21 EXECUTE ADJUST OPERATION, select COLOR REGIST AUTO ADJUSTMENT, then press OK, PREVIOUS SCREEN. After adjusting, it will back to normal.

If the code number back on again, then it was the transfer belt off alignment. If you know how to pull the transfer back to center position, problem solve, if not, call technician.
