Is fall and i need to know when i should stop feeding my hummingbirds before winter. so they fly south for the winter. but dont want to stop too soon. and they go hungry.

Birds will instinctively know when to fly south, however you are correct in assuming that they may stick around longer if a food source is provided. This could be dangerous for some species of birds. The general rule of thumb for your area is that whenever the highest temperature of the day is less than 60 degrees Fahrenheit you should take down the bird feeder.
