Rebooting forever is either memory fault or the HDD have corrupt system files. From the BIOHD-8, it sounds like HDD issue. Try download "HDD Regenerator 1.51" CD ISO, burn to DC and scan to whole Harddrive. This nice software is designed to recover corrupt/bad sectors. I had a friends PC falls into this case. 1 bad sector was found and recovered within 2GB from start where most Windows system files are stored. Then reboot and windows do a chkdsk automatically, and resolved!
Pretty unusable advice if you are completely unable to bring up windows....I have the same prob...comp wont boot in safe mode either....Got HP on the line....ran diagnostist....got a HDD failure code BIOHD-8. When HP heard this code they basically said ....you're done son!! They immediately switched from support to we will send you a new HDD. Seems that they have seen this problem before and the most viable fix is replacement

An HP printer user may have faced the issue of HP Error Code biohd-8 while working. This error can be caused by a failing hard drive. It is known to appear on some HP motherboards. Often It is actually a S.M.A.R.T. drive error code which tells you that the hard drive is failing.
It is a bit difficult to repair in general. It's even tougher if an unusual mistake such as BIOHD-8 catches you. However, don't worry. Don't worry. This mistake, and how do you try on your machine to repair it, is going to be explained here.
I had also faced the same issue on my laptop, but resolve this problem with the help of some blogs and articles available on the web.
I can't post the whole solution here, I am giving a link of a blog here, just go through the blog and follow the instruction.

Get over this problem by error checking in drive C properties 1. go to my computer 2. right click on drive C 3. choose properties 4. in toolbar select tool > error checking that's it (it may ask you to reboot and start checking on your drive ) after did all that(in my case) biohd-8 never show up again until now...

hi nic,
thanks for your assistance, but let me clarify the problem i've got to my desktop.
it's rebooting and rebooting without stoping, then after taping F9 for diagnostic i'v noticed this error to the device that failed.
thanks in advanced to help again.
