I keep getting toc err when i put a recorded cd in
TOC is table of contents. Typically if its on a recorded cd try burning a cd from antoher computer and try it, if it works its most likely that your burner or software or ccd's your using are bad. Also is it a MP3 disc your trying to play? If so then you MUST burn it as a MP3 cd. You cant just burn MP3's to a CD and it read them. If this is the case thats why you are getting the TOC error because its not writing to the CD whats on the CD on the TOC area of the disc.
nice quick and to the point. i was going to say try using a burned mp3 disc, then a store bought cd, then a burned cd. the source should be in mp3 for your burned mp3 disc, and cd for any type of compact disc. the mp3 file is much smaller, thus it will not read. buy a new deck. its a good one, dont get me wrong. its in my golf cart and it NEVER skips but the volume knob stoped working and to make it a little worse any button on the deck pressed pushes the face in and separates the connection. it would be impossable to opperate w/o the remote.

every single cd i put in it always says toc err.
My CD player will no longer play CDs. I now get a TOC ER message. This player used to play the same CDs, but no longer. This problem started after I replaced the car battery.
How can I fix this?
