Ok bud, here's what id do from one gamer to another. dont have a ps3 though, but a ps2 and an xbox. it could be one of two things. the 1st, you could have your AV jacks, red white and yellow connected to the wrong colors, this would cause no picture to show up. make sure they are the same if that doesnt do it, than unfortunatly in my opinion you may need to see if its still under warranty. since something is either fried or the cables could be threaded wrong or something insdie the console, and you cant gain access to that unless you take out all the screws, and i did that for my ps2 take my advice dont do it. if that isnt it, than I dont know, but i thought id give it a shot :)
