My laser printer is transfering toner from the roller and is ghosting from the prior printings onto glossy photo paper - I had pulled out a jammed sheet while it was fresh and I believe I transferred hot toner onto the wheel - is there a way to safely clean these surfaces or do I just need to run some more copies thru to remove the errant toner images? It worked fine before I pulled the jammed paper out ... I failed to loosen the release tabs as it is a new printer and I didn't read the instructions - my whoops...
Copy a blank sheet of paper and if it has a shadow you may have to repair or replace the printer.
You just need to run more print outs to clear the ghosting.
