I have this error, it feeds the paper, but stops just before the drum and i get the error sc322 turn off machine
It's most likely your Laser diode (LD unit). You're going to require a tech...see the posts the following link for the same problem. It's for a Ricoh model, but your machine actually is a Ricoh Machine (Ricoh owns Lanier), and is virtually identical to this one -just a generation older.
