E10 error Shortly after starting a load of wash(about 10-15 min), the washer flashes an E10 error and beeps continuously. If I cancel the load, there is a lot of water in the drum (and, of course, the clothes haven't rinsed) I am able to run a "spin only" cycle and it spins and drains fine. If, I hit the "start" button again, the washer takes in more water and continues through the rest of the cycle. Sometimes it is the "normal" amount of time, and sometimes it takes an hour or more. The drain hose is not kinked. This unit is only 4 months old.

The error code chart indicates that this could be a water flow problem, too low of a drain hose height. Check for clean filters of the inlet water line. Check that the drain host was assembled as per the manual's instructions. In any case your machine is still under warranty and you can ask for Frigidaire's assistance. Good luck!

E10 code indicates there is no water supply. This can be confirmed by :

  1. Shut off the faucet to stop water supply to the washer.
  2. Disconnect and pulling the supply hose off the washer to confirm the E10Code
    • Opening the faucet and watch for running water

I know 8 other people with same washer as I have and we have ALL had the same problem within very short time of buying the damn thing - never AGAIN will I buy a FRigidaire. If the pressure switch needs replacing on ALL of these machines - there should be a bulletin and it shouldb e fixed for FREE. It is bull ****.

If your on well water like any washing machine front load or top load every 3 to 6 months you need to disconnect your hot and cold hoses and clean the filters.....

I just had the E10 error with my Washer. (3/9/08)
It turned out to be the pressure switch. $17 part.

We got the error shortly after getting the unit. Was first told it was due to being too much detergent and causing too much suds. So we would use a small amount of concentrate and it was hit or miss on the error code popping up. So on a whim we started using twice as much detergent and haven't had a problem since. Clothes smell and look much better.

I had the same problem and my washer was only 1 month old. Tech came out and looked things over. My pump was clogged. He said that reason it worked sometimes and not others was just were the debris happened to be in the pump.

Are you using the high efficiency detergent? The newer washers require a detergent with little or no suds. You can find a high efficiency detergent by the "he" logo on the bottle. If it doesn't have that logo it's not high efficiency.
