Random!

Question

when i first got it it was perfect but then after awhile my random function stopped working!
it just keeps playing the same random as if it is  a playlist!
everytime i put it on random it just play the song in the same order as before !

Reset the player. Reformat the player. Recover the player. Upgrade the firmware. If it still doesn't work, give up. I hate to be like that, but that is all you can ever do with any Mp3 player. I work for an mp3 manufacturer, I should know.
