There are service manuals google search for compaw evo service manual, or hardware maintenance manual the lcd covers do need to be pryed off gently, you get the lcd frame odff by bending the frame upwards, towards yourself, every few inches. the bottom has 2 or 3 srews to remove first, and sometimes a wireless antenna on the front (top) of the lcd has 2 screws inside as well)
