My GE dehumidifier will run for a few hours, and then go into P1 error code, will defrost for 30-60 minutes, then work again for a few hours, then go back into P1. We have never had this problem until this year. We took the filter out and cleaned it, wasn't bad at all. Any thoughts?

Either the humidistat is bad and not letting the unit cycle off, there isn't enough humidity in the air, or the condensor coils are too dirty.
