Memory When I turn my unit off and turn it on later, it forgets what speakers were hooked up to it. It thinks there is no center speaker, and it thinks that the main speakers are small. Rarely, it forgets about the rear surround speakers but most of the time it knows they are there. It works fine if I go to the speaker setup and tell it that the front are large and that the middle exists, but I'm tired of doing that each time I use the unit.
Of course I've tried the reset button, leaving it unplugged for a while, etc. I haven't left it powered off for weeks at a time though.
Does anybody know what could cause it? All the company would say is "take it for repair."
