Bios problem hello sir, i need your help, i have msi 865 GVM2-LS motherboard. when i switched on my pc, it cannot boot, on first screen following message appears: "cmos checksum error- defaults loaded" "press f1 to continue or del to enter setup" when i press these keys, it cannot responed, i cannot enter in BIOS setup. i have replace cmos battery but it doesn't work. the problem still persists. there is no problem with HDD and RAM, because i have checked these in my friends pc. please! suggest me what can i do now to solve this problem.

u need to chnage the c-mos battery>and try this first unplug teh c-mos battery and replug it and check if its not works then chnage it rate me solved if its helps thx

I had a similar experience after upgrading my RAM. When you reset your CMOS and have default settings maybe you should check if your RAM timings are correct. I could not get mine to load with both sticks in until I fixed the timings from the default settings.

If you have another computer download the previous BIOS update of version 3.0 and see if that works.

Press DEL to enter setup and set Reset to Defaults in Exit menu. If you have USB keyboard, make sure you enable Legacy USB and USB keyboard settings, save and exit and reboot.

This message is usually accompanied by another more explicit, like: "Memory changed from 1GB to 2GB. Press F1 to continue". The message should display and go away after pressing F1. Since you cannot press F1 because the keys do nothing, chances are your keyboard is disconnected, which should display a message indicating this failure.
Try pressing the ScrLk (Scroll Lock) key as messages are being displayed to catch all
messages (they go by quickly) and stop them before they disappear.
If that's the case, then reconnect the keyboard and try again.
