Placed DVD disc in player . . . I had to use the charger adapter to get it to start. Does this logically mean a new product has to be recharged first. If so, how long does it take? A phone will say " charging". . . . What does DVD player say,,if anything and where do I find this info. Thank u, Gloria

It is just like that because it isn't done recharging. After a while it will turn back to what it's real power level is. You should let your MP3 player recharge for over an hour at least to have it fully recharged.

mine broke when it was new. i opened the cig lighter end and found broken wire. soldered it on and taped up the missing chunk of plastic. worked ever since.
try to unlock it or reset it there shoulb be a very small hole on the back of it use something to put in there to reset it i try it i dont relly know if i works it justsomething i got off a website but i have delete all of the files off of mine and now it give me some problems because i delete my factory setsing or files so do NOT!! delete the files.

U plug in the a/c power charger for the portable DVD player have power and work?Yes,than the litium battery is dead.Take out of the a/c charger like 4 or 6 hrs later dvd player have any battery power at all?No?Tries websites like Amazon.com,Ebay.com to buy a new litium battery or a compatible one for the replacement.
