Have just bought this KVM switch to replace our failed one and am trying to use with our exisiting Avocent DSRIQ-PS2 interface adapaters. The switch does not recognise or show when an adpater is connected and the server powered on.
I've run the diganostics on the console and it lists the adapter, port it is connected to and serial number under "Suspect IA"
I thought this HP unit was simply a rebadged DSR1010 so I think these should just work??

Mine uses the "Print Screen" for the menu & "Print Screen" + 1, 2, 3, or 4 for direct access.

I believe there is a reset button somewhere on that unit that you can press to just do a quick reset of it. If you hold that button down, you should be able to reset the settings on it, including your password. Hope this helps.
