When you but premade machines from DELL or Gateway for example they just give you a recovery CD with the drivers and basic install for you. You should have a Windows licence Code on your machine, you can order a new CD from microsoft if you wish to re-install your machine this way.

thank you for your reply ,i bought reboot disk from gateway and they do not work at all the geek squad installed there disk and were able to set my computer to accept ghost disk and i was able to reboot this pc from my norton360 backup disk but did nothing about partitioning my system for additional operating system.why is it that the geek squad has a disk to manage systems and i cant obtian one?
