Audio dropout I use my camcorder in the weekend I'm hindu wedding videographer.Since october last year I didn't get any problem. It is since mid July 07 that I started getting the audio dropouts from time to time.I use the vx2100 for recording and panasonic MD9000 for playback and capturing for editing.First time I noticed the dropout problem while capturing which was in an interval of 5 to 6 sec luckily audio was not important. Panicked, I had never come across this problem,my only solution was to use video head cleaner,I recorded and checked: the recording was fine I got relief as I had to cover an important wedding ceremony for three days. The first day after knowing the problem,I recorded for 30 mins I didn't get the problem. The second day I recorded for one hour it was when I checked I noticed that the last 10 mins the problem existed. The 3rd day audio was not important so I continued recording for 30 mins without problem. I always used panasonic master and ordinary mini dv tapes I started using sony tapes for compability. I had to cover another wedding function, on another one hour recording I noticed I had problem on the last part of recording. Another remark is on playback on the same recorded camcorder the problem is more noticeable than on another player. I dubbed 40 mins video with my vx2100 and still got the after 15 mins. PLease help me what should i do?

Take it or ship it to video tech service. they will clear it and go from there. it may need some tension adustments in addition. The guy there is super cool.
