Networking problem Hello, I got 2 problem, first i got dsl from verizon, using win xp, westell 327w modem/router combo, everything just fine just only my laptop couldn't connect the wireless even thought my laptop can see it, but my bro's laptop can connect it no problem at all (our wireless driver is updated). I reset it to factory default but no help. We both use dell 1505E, the weird thing i can connect the same modem/router with same isp at my friend house, and although he leave every as default too. Second my actiontec GT704WG, i and my bro have to reset a modem to browse the net after a while because we can not browse on an existing ie or firefox or start new one, even though my skype is still connected as i was on a video chat with my friend, download on azureus. I have read some post on fixya that said some about DNS problem ?? i tried but still not working. Both are modem/router combo and were set dynamic ip. Wonder if you could help me, thanks. Note: I have some basic knowledge about networking, just enough to set up from default modem/router to an secure network, file sharing, mac filter, block web service, port forward-trigger, lease time. More other advance I still need to learn.
