Setting the clock

Turn the ignition:
Make sure your vehicle's ignition is in the "On" or "ACC" position.
Get the schedule of hours:
Locate the "Time" or "Clock" button on your radio. This button is usually labeled "Time", "Clock", or with a small clock icon.
Enter the clock setting mode:
Press and hold the "Time" or "Clock" button until the hour digits start flashing on the display.
Set the hours:
Use the "Seek" or "Tune" buttons to adjust the clock. You said you can set the hour, so go to the next step and set the minutes.
Set the minutes:
After setting the clock, press the "Time" or "Clock" button again. This causes the minute digits to start flashing.
Use the "Seek" or "Tune" buttons to adjust the minutes to the appropriate time.
Confirm the schedule:
After setting the correct time, press the "Time" or "Clock" button again to confirm and exit the clock setting mode.

Setting the Local Time

1. Press WORLD/LOCAL to display "LOCAL".
2. Hold downl CLOCK until you hear a beep.
3. Press TUNE/SCAN TIME SET + or - to set the hour.
4. Press CLOCK to enter the hour.
5. Press TUNE/SCAN TIME SET + or - to set the minute, and then press CLOCK. Two beeps sound to confirm the setting.

Setting the WORLD Time

1. Press WORLD/LOCAL to display "WORLD".
2. Hold downl CLOCK until you hear a beep.
3. Press TUNE/SCAN TIME SET + or - to set the desired hour and press CLOCK. Two beeps sound to confirm the setting.

Initial Settings

1 Press SRC/OFF and hold until the unit

turns off.

2 Press M.C. and hold until CLOCK SET appears

in the display.

3 Turn M.C. to select the initial setting.

After selecting, perform the following procedures

to set the initial setting.

CLOCK SET (setting the clock)

1 Press M.C. to display the setting mode.

2 Press M.C. to select the segment of the clock display

you wish to set.

Hour-Minute

As you select segments of the clock display, the

selected segment flashes.
3 Turn M.C. to adjust the clock.

To set the clock. You must set the clock once so that the system announces the correct day and time with your messages. After this, if you subscribe to Caller ID, the system will automatically reset the clock each time new call information is received.

Press PLAY/STOP to exit at any time while

• The clock-adjusting mode is canceled when the power is turned off,

Setting item: DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME
Setting content: OFF / ON
Setting the Time
HOUR: Adjust the hour.
MINUTE: Adjust the minute.
RESET: If the clock shows less than 30 minutes past, the
minute will be “: 0”; more than 30, the hour
advances.
Setting Daylight Saving Time
ON: Place the Summer Time mode ON. The time advances by
one hour.
OFF: Return to the ordinary time.

Actully, you need to press and HOLD the "mode" button for a few seconds. It will then display the setting for the speed sensative volume. Press the mode button agian and it will switch to "set clock". You can select a 12 hour (standard) or 24 hour (military) clock. You then use the key pad to enter the time and the AM or PM setting .
